Ted Beasley
Supervising Producer
Ted Beasley joined the GHS-TV staff in 2006 after spending two years as the sports editor of the Evening Times newspaper. His sports section won five state awards in his two years. Mr. Beasley’s feature pieces on a football team overcoming the near death of a teammate and of the fine line fathers must watch while coaching their own children each garnered top honors.
Mr. Beasley earned B.A.s in Broadcast Journalism and Technical Writing from the University of Memphis. In 2002, he received the university’s Outstanding Broadcast Student award. Beasley spent six months as an intern with Memphis’ CBS affiliate. He is a 1998 graduate of White Station High School.

Jordan Liles
Jordan Liles joined the GHS-TV staff in 2005. A 2001 graduate of the GHS fine arts department, Mr. Liles was actively involved with GHS-TV, technically producing several productions. He went on to graduate from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in broadcast journalism. In addition, he has contributed to stories for MTV News Online, international video game magazines and for California-based websites, IGN Entertainment and GameSpy.

Bobby Ramsay
Bobby Ramsay is a 2004 graduate of Germantown High School. As a senior in the GHS Fine Arts Department, Mr. Ramsay served as general manager of GHS-TV and as lighting director of Wake Up, Germantown!, won a National Student Television Award of Excellence from the organization that presents television's coveted Emmy awards. In 2008, Mr. Ramsay graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Media Production. Mr. Ramsay served as an intern for News Channel 5 and has worked freelance in the Nashville area. Some of his freelance projects include the 2008 Nashville Regional Emmy awards and Soundcheck: Season 2, which highlights musical groups from the Nashville and Murfreesboro area.

Glenn Payton
Video Engineer
Glenn Payton is the chief engineer for Germantown Community Television. Mr. Payton hails from Blytheville, Ark. He served in the United States Naval Air Force as an aviation electronics technician. Mr. Payton was an air crewman in charge of the electronics system for the P2V Neptune Patrol Aircraft. After completing his service, he worked as a computer field services engineer. Before coming to GHS-TV, Mr. Payton worked locally at WHBQ AM, FM, and TV; WREC AM and FM, WREG TV; and WLMT. He is married and has one son.

Brook Dickerson
Brook Dickerson, a native of Las Vegas, began her dance training at an early age and graduated as a dance major from the Las Vegas Academy. Mrs. Dickerson attended Brigham Young University with a dance talent scholarship and performed and toured with the BYU Dancers' Company for 5 years. While a student at BYU, Mrs. Dickerson taught beginning and intermediate jazz classes for the University and was an assistant teacher in social dance and modern dance classes. Brook received awards for dance teaching and performing and was honored her senior year as the sole recipient of the Leona Holbrook citation and scholarship. Mrs. Dickerson is especially grateful for the unique experiences she has had to perform and guest teach in many places including China, the Philippines, Korea and India as well as many cities in the United States. She has also guest taught at multiple summer workshops and presented on how to effectively teach dance concepts at an annual UDEO workshop for all dance teachers in Utah. Mrs. Dickerson enjoyed her six years of teaching dance in public education and most recently was a faculty member of the Las Vegas Academy of International Studies, Performing and Visual Arts teaching in the dance department.

Alyce Ann Chism
Costume Designer/Costume Rentals Coordinator
Memphis native Alyce Ann Chism has been devoted to the Poplar Pike Playhouse since 1977. She first helped with costumes for Oklahoma! and has served in many other capacities since then. After graduating from Lausanne in 1961, she went on to study at William Woods College. Mrs. Chism has worked for the Shelby County school system for 32 years. She is the proud wife of former Germantown High School principal Ernest L. Chism and the mother of two children, both of whom are Germantown High School alumni. She is also the grandmother of four.

Jack House
Technical Director
A University of Memphis graduate, Mr. House has been teaching in the Memphis City and Shelby County School systems for the past 43 years. In his seven years at GHS, Mr. House has devoted his time and skills to the Poplar Pike Playhouse productions of Children of Eden, Lend Me a Tenor, Crazy For You, Seussical the Musical, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, just to name a few. Mr. House has many set carpentry credits outside of the PPP including South Pacific, Annie Get Your Gun, and Aunt Mame.
